During the last lap of my life,
I want you to be with me,
To laugh together like we always do,
And care for each other like we're still new.
During the last lap of my life,
I want you to walk with me,
Through all the dreams we've weaved together,
And all the poems we've lived together.
During the last lap of my life,
I want you to hold my hand,
To assure that you'll always stay,
Till death separates us to a life beyond.
This is as warmth as a woolen sweater worn during cold, snowy night! Keep writing (in English) more often.
ReplyDeleteThank you for that warm response. Sure, will keep writing (in English). :)
DeleteSorry, feel free to write whichever you are comfy with. I really wish I could understand Malayalam and get the pulpy essence of the song "Ariyathe Ariyathe" without any translation loss. It's a shame I haven't learnt it.
